The Logistics Assistant (LA) is responsible for working with the Supplies & Logistics Specialist to conduct the day-to-day assembly, shipping, and overall inventory management of CND's skin biopsy test kits distributed to clinicians in the US and overseas as well as other supplies and logistics related activities as assigned. The LA will report to the Supplies and Logistics Specialist. The LA will develop a thorough knowledge of CND's supplies, materials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to CND's test kits presented in multiple forms for different end-customers and become familiar with other laboratory supply management practices. The LA will take direction from the Supplies & Logistics Specialist to become fully trained and certified to conduct kit assembly, shipping and inventory management and will be assigned to specific daily and weekly schedules and kit volume goals. The LA will work within CND's CRM, LIMS, and other software environments to help manage all customer, study site, and sales team requests and serve as a primary assembler of all approved test kits in accordance with standard protocols. The LA will maintain a close working relationship with R&D and Clinical Services staff to serve different customer needs for specific types of kits. In all cases, the LA follows standard laboratory procedures and policies and is subject to ongoing quality training and compliance requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Test Kit Activities
- Working within CND's laboratory facility, serve as a primary assembler for all Syn-One, Small-Fiber Dx and other CND test kits; ensure all kit contents including operational, marketing, and education materials are included as specified
- Manage and execute all kit shipments to physician practice, study site, and sales team customers
- Keep close track of kit supply and demand by using CND's CRM and other software
- Collaborate closely with Clinical Services to ensure customer needs are met and kit inventories are managed effectively
- Collaborate closely with the R&D team to ensure clinical study needs for kits are met
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to ensure sales staff has adequate and controlled "trunk stocks" of kits to be provided to customers
- Perform regular audits and verification that all kits are shipped in a timely manner
- Adhere to all shipping regulations (US and international).
General Inventory & Supply Activities
- At the request of the Supplies & Logistics Specialist and other Lab Operations staff, interface with CND suppliers regarding orders, supplies and requirements
- Help ensure sufficient supply of reagents and materials for ongoing customer kit inventory and other laboratory processes
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with established purchasing and accounting policies
- Communicate effectively with the CND teams on matters and issues related to kit and other supplies inventory
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a professional setting performing time-based tasks, preferably related to inventory management and or laboratory supplies (but not required)

Education, Certifications, and Licensures
